Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Jesus Does, Inc. ("JesusDoes," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you through our online interfaces, including jesusdoes.org, jesusdoes.com, and associated applications (collectively, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the Site. Our Site may contain links to third-party sites not owned or controlled by JesusDoes. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy statements.

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Service.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us: when you submit a video testimony, create an account, or otherwise interact with our Site, we may collect your name; email address; phone number; location and organization details you enter; submitted video and audio; browser-provided location when you grant access; testimony type; terms and release acceptance; and other information you choose to provide. Tell Him currently offers public-intent video submission only, not private, organization-only, or small-group video choices.

Information collected automatically: when you visit our Site, we may automatically collect IP address; browser type and version; device information; pages visited and time spent; and referring URL. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some Site features may not function without them.

Information from third-party services: we may receive information about you from third-party services you use to interact with our platform, including video collection services and authentication providers.

How We Use Your Information

We use information to receive and store submissions; review and moderate them; create transcripts and other processing outputs when available; operate accounts and Gatherings; display approved public testimony; respond to requests; maintain the Site; and comply with legal obligations. We may use contact details for account access, booking, submission-related messages, and other communications you separately request or agree to receive. Submission does not guarantee publication or a personal or ministry response.

How We Share Your Information

Public testimony: a video submitted through Tell Him is intended for possible public use. Someone with its direct media link may be able to watch it before review. If approved, the video and selected witness information may appear on JesusDoes.org or other public channels described in the Video Release. Others may view, link to, or redistribute public content. A private journal or Gathering does not make a Tell Him video private.

Organizations and ministry partners: approved public testimony may be shared through partner channels as described in the Video Release. Tell Him does not offer organization-only or small-group video distribution or promise that a prayer request will be routed to a ministry.

Service providers: we use third-party services to host the Site and application, store data and media, deliver necessary messages, and operate related features. These services include Vercel, Railway, Supabase, and Cloudflare R2. Donations made through our giving link are processed by Donorbox on its own site; review its privacy terms before donating.

Legal requirements: we may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.

Business transfers: if JesusDoes is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

AI and Automated Processing

We use artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to process submitted content. This includes automated transcription of video and audio, thematic analysis and categorization, sentiment and topic identification, and speaker characteristic tagging for search and discovery. AI-generated analysis is used to improve the platform experience and help viewers find relevant testimonies. Automated processing does not alter the content of your testimony. Follow-Up Communications

We may send messages needed for account access and messages about a booking, submission, or request you make. Providing an email address for Tell Him does not itself enroll you in a periodic story-update or promotional email program.

If you receive optional communications, you may opt out using the instructions in the message or by contacting pete@jesusdoes.org. Opting out does not affect distribution of content you previously submitted.

Data Retention

We retain account, submission, media, and consent records for the purposes described in this policy and as required by applicable obligations. You may request access, correction, or removal by contacting pete@jesusdoes.org. We will explain what we can remove from systems under our control and what must be retained. Copies made by others after public distribution may remain outside our control.

Consent Records

We keep records of terms and release acceptance associated with submissions and accounts for legal, operational, and audit purposes. Contact us if you have questions about a consent record.

Security of Your Information

We use industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

Children's Privacy

Tell Him does not accept video submissions from people under eighteen, including with parent or guardian consent. Our Site is not directed to children under thirteen. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact pete@jesusdoes.org so we can review and address it.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access the personal information we hold about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate information; the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limitations; the right to restrict or object to certain processing of your information; and the right to data portability.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California's "Shine the Light" law, including the right to know what personal information is collected, disclosed, or sold; the right to request deletion; the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (JesusDoes does not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. International Users

JesusDoes is operated in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our Site, you consent to this transfer. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will provide appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information as required by applicable law, including standard contractual clauses where appropriate.
